Teleport to Italy sounds good to all of us about now, and we are all ready to enjoy Aria’s fresh ingredients and seasonal specialties. Mastercard cardholders enjoy 15% savings on Aria’s dinner à la carte menu (food only) from Sunday to Thursday.  

First timers to Aria will notice right away the breathtaking panoramic views overlooking Central Hong Kong, with natural daylight passing through the floor to ceiling windows.  

And what about the cuisine? We recently tried some of fan favorites featured in four-course dinner, starting off with Il Pomod’Oro & la Burrata – Cherry Tomato, Burrata d’Andria, Basil Cress, Fiori & Spezie, a perfect combination of an iconic Italian antipasti.

Next up, we feasted on the Carbonara di Quaglia fusilli pasta – quail ragu, egg sauce, with a large rare-sized pasta we don’t normally find dining out. The sauce was exceptionally creamy, and the texture of the quail was spot-on.

For the main course, Il Viaggio del Piccione was the choice. The honey & spice crusted pigeon coated with a cherry almond dressing was served alongside an onion tart topinambur. The sauce paired amazingly well with the meat and elevated the entire dish.

Lastly, we finished the meal with a southern Italian classic dolce, Sicilian cannoli filled with sheep’s milk ricotta cheese, bronte’s pistachio and candied orange peel. It is hard to resist the crunchy layer filled with the creamy cheese and offset with tangy orange flavours in the background and enjoyed every morsel.
