Michelin Guide Hong Kong 2024: 5 Restaurants Earn First Star

In Hong Kong, a city where culinary excellence is closely intertwined with its culture, the annual announcement of the MICHELIN guide selection has grown into a highly anticipated event.

On March 14, the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2024 took place at the Grand Lisboa, Macau, witnessing five Hong Kong restaurants honoured with their first MICHELIN star. Celebrated Argentinian chef Paulo Airaudo’s contemporary Italian restaurant Noi ascended to a two-star status while seven establishments retained their coveted three-star honours that include Caprice, Sushi Shikon and Ta Vie.

“Hong Kong is a melting pot that embraces diverse talent with chefs from around the world returning to their hometowns, and foreign chefs bringing their specialities and know-how to the industry,” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide.
