Where To Go Clubbing in Lan Kwai Fong

Where To Go Clubbing in Lan Kwai Fong

Lan Kwai Fong can be a little overwhelming – whether you’re new to Hong Kong or have been here your whole life. There are so many bars and clubs, sometimes it’s hard to know where to go. To make things a little easier, we’ve rounded up a few of the best classic clubs in Lan Kwai Fong, the tried-and-true staples of Hong Kong’s party district.

So, the sun is down, the work week is over (or not- you do you) and you’re down to Lan Kwai Fong. Check out these clubs for a great night out.

Rúla Búla

Everyone in Hong Kong has a Rúla Búla story. This club seems to transcend all boundaries. If the United Nations were a club, it would be Rúla Búla. Come here on a Friday or Saturday for a high energy night of sing-along tunes and dad dancing. Hong Kong’s many rugby teams tend to come out in force on the weekends, but they add to the charm. It’s just had a sleek new re-design as well and is looking mint.

Vault

Looking for a grown-up club? Check out Vault. One of the newest additions in Lan Kwai Fong, this 2,000 square foot venue is a world all its own. Come early for a relaxing lounge experience and enjoy their high-end spirits and whiskey, then watch the space transform into a high-energy club after dark. VIP tables and a private VIP Room are available. The décor is luxurious and a little risqué – think marble tables suspended from the ceiling by gold chains.

Dragon-i

Dragon-i has been open for over a decade – and it’s easy to see why. It blends traditional Chinese elements with sharp modern touches to create a sexy, high-end vibe that attracts all of the who’s-who in Hong Kong. There are three zones inside, with multiple bars and dancefloors. Reserve a VIP Booth to get the best seats in the house. Their main area plays commercial music, but you can explore the different regions until you find something you like – and keep a look-out for visiting DJs and special events.   Then come back the next day for a recovery dim sum brunch.
