The Road to Ultra returns to Hong Kong with an all-day event planned for West Kowloon Cultural District on September 16.
One of the biggest electronic dance music festivals in town, Road to Ultra will unite all music revellers to embrace their love of electronic dance music. Last year’s event was popular for its amazing line-up and full-on festival experience. This year’s event promises to be something else – it’s twice as big.
Up front, there’s a new layout, more space, a bigger stage and a brand-new production. If you saw last year’s highlights or have seen this year’s touring show, you know there’s a multi-sensory experience coming your way.
This year the headliners are Dutch electro-wizard Hardwell and Norwegian all-rounder Kygo, who is headed our way for the first time. In support are Grammy Award-winning German DJ and producer, Zedd, plus Getter, Rezz and Slushii.
Tickets are available online and you can get the full round-up at Timable. Admission is limited to 18 years and older, with tickets starting at HK$1,480 at the door. A Premium General Admission ticket include express entrance privileges, a roped-off standing area, easy access to the bar, access to an exclusive restroom and a special gift. Nice.
But what about before and after? Can we recommend brunch at California Tower to start the day right? You’ll be spoilt for choice afterwards in LKF, but there are three new – or newly revamped – clubs worth checking out.
