A spread by Pomegranate

Hong Kong is notorious for having small flats, and people who love to entertain. It’s a hard combination for many. How do you throw an effortless dinner party for all your friends in just 300 square feet? We’re going to let you in on a little secret: you don’t! Save yourself the hassle and host your next dinner party in someone else’s kitchen. Everybody wins: more space, more fun, less stress, better cooking!

Ready to plan your next event? Read on to find four of our favourite private kitchens in Hong Kong.

Chef and owner Maria Bizri launched Pomegranate in 2011, bringing elements of her Mediterranean heritage and global travels to hungry Hong Kongers. With two Wong Chuk Hang venues (and catering capabilities) there’s basically no limit to what you can do with Pomegranate. Their chefs will delight your taste buds with Mediterranean, European and Asian cuisines, at their own venues or your home—either way, you can’t go wrong. For a larger party, book Pomegranate Kitchen, their stunning 2000 square foot space with outdoor terrace.

Dine Art

In a city of “worst kept secrets”, it’s always refreshing to feel like you discovered something truly surprising in Hong Kong. That’s how we feel about Dine Art, equal parts art gallery and Italian kitchen in Wong Chuk Hang. The 4,000 square foot space can accommodate up to 120 guests, and their open kitchen is just as alluring as the beautiful art on display. Here you can enjoy life as it’s meant to be lived: among good friends, good food and great art.
