Posto Pubblico Launches New Veggie Menu

There’s a new plant-based menu in town, and we can’t wait to try it

Is there anything better than fresh produce? Bursting with flavour and vitamins, everything just tastes a little better when it comes straight from the garden. Don’t believe us? Then you need to head to Posto Pubblico later this month to try their new menu of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

With this new menu, they’re going back to their roots as one of Hong Kong’s first farm-to-table restaurants. Here at Lan Kwai Fong, we love a good steak—but these dishes are looking so good we can’t wait to try them, especially the Beet Carpaccio and Fried Enoki Mushrooms.

Posto Pubblico is a SoHo favourite for pastas, and this new menu delivers with two new vegan creations. The Homemade Orecchiette is giving us all the feels, with green garlic and broccoli rabe pesto, preserved lemon, sundried tomato and chili. And if you’re after something a bit heartier, the Eggplant Bolognese would satisfy any carnivore’s cravings. Both pastas are completely eggless and free of all animal products, but somehow taste just as good as the traditional recipes.

The restaurant is also introducing a Pizza Puttanesca, which swaps anchovies for sea beans, and – perhaps most excitingly—they’ve even created a vegetarian-friendly version of their famous meatballs. The Impossible Balls are made with the most exciting lab-grown meat alternative on the market, Impossible Foods, and frankly, our mouths are watering already.

Posto Pubblico’s new plant-based menu is available for lunch and dinner from 23 May, 2019 onwards. The launch dinner is on 23 May, 2019 and is HK$388 (+10%) per guest.
