Lan Kwai Fong’s clubs have always been the lifeblood of Hong Kong’s premier party strip, with the action traditionally centred around California Tower. With the grand unveiling of an all-new Levels, we’re going to take a look at three clubs that are new on the scene and that call LKF home.
A revamped Levels made its glamorous debut just last week, with a red carpet, free-flow marathon. It was an epic launch to match the new Levels. The club – one of Hong Kong’s biggest – features a Logic Systems Pro Audio systems for booming tunes, LED screens and laser lightshows for banging visuals and a tricked out décor for ballers. Oh, there are also some very cool new smoke guns and confetti canons that help make this a next-level night out. They changed up the entertainment too, with beer pong and live sports every evening before 11pm, ahead of the DJs taking control of the booth. To celebrate, Levels has a month-long celebration with big nights planned all the way through September. Check their Facebook page for more details.

Mazu has a prime location at the heart of Lan Kwai Fong and is set just above the street. Since its opening at the end of last year, it has started to carve out a reputation for hosting some sharp club nights – they welcomed stalwart crew Magnetic Soul for their recent 12th birthday bash – and a selection of bar games, including a pool table, beer pong and darts machine. Oh, the name? Mazu is the Chinese goddess of the sea, better known as Tin Hau in Cantonese.

We welcomed this elevated offering to the strip back in July and Vault has gone onto bigger and better since then. Vault is one part exclusive cocktail lounge and one part high-energy club later in the evening. They’ve put together a programme of drinks specials and special events, including cheap deals on Thirsty Tuesdays and Fashion Fridays, a model’s night.
