The fun never stops in Lan Kwai Fong. With the Halloween festivities just over, the neighbourhood is already getting geared up for its next big party—the LKF Carnival—which happens during the weekend of November 19 and 20.
One of the major events of the year in Lan Kwai Fong, the Carnival, like always, invites everyone to let their hair down and be entertained. Every year, the organiser of this mega event will present the most extraordinary and indulgent activities for its visitors who crave excitement and need to be constantly surprised. For this year, the streets and over 60 booths in Lan Kwai Fong will be decorated with thematic patterns and special lighting sponsored by Philips Lighting Hong Kong Ltd.
In fact, this will be the largest-ever smart-lighting installation in Hong Kong assembled with “Philips Hue” at California Tower, brightening up the area with a gigantic LKF heart. This will certainly project Lan Kwai Fong’s vibrancy and energy from a whole new angle.
Also during the Carnival, party lovers of all ages are invited to come and participate in Let’s Play, as Lan Kwai Fong will be transformed into one giant fun play zone. Challenge yourself at game booths powered by Okamoto, or try out Philips’ smart-lighting game and the latest virtual-reality technology. You can also get free drink samples simply by being a “perfect match” with Coca-Cola’s newly designed can at the interactive vending machine.
You can immerse yourself in the party atmosphere and enjoy interactive games by TIGI by IL COLPO and face painting by MOD Makeup Academy, while side-stepping clowns and jugglers who will be there for your entertainment. As with all carnivals that are fun and joyous, you can expect a lot of attractive prizes to be won at all the different booths.
And if you are not busy trying to win a prize, be pampered with delicious food such as Belgian chocolate fondue, glistening handmade donuts, traditional-styled Hong Kong lollipops, delicious burgers and skewers—just to name a few.
