Highlights of the menu include Italian Formaggi Mussels, a decadent option with melted blue cheese, cheddar, pecorino cheese, onion, and topped with shaved parmesan; creamy Lobster Bisque Mussels cooked with shrimp, onion, tomato, and brandy; Bouillabaisse Mussels with fennel, tomato, saffron, and Pernod; and Singapore Laksa Mussels in an aromatic broth made with dried shrimp, Thai chilli, coconut cream, shallots, garlic and laksa leaves. There is also Australian Chili Mussels, cooked with red chilli, garlic, tomato and Italian parsley; Singapore Chili Crab Mussels in a succulent broth made with “Belacan” shrimp paste, chilli, lemongrass, ketchup, shallot, and garlic; and Kung Pao Mussels served in a peppery broth with Szechuan pepper, Chinese aged-vinegar, soy sauce, chilli, garlic, and spring onion. All mussels come with the options of toasted French Baguette, French fries, or deep-fried “Mantou” steamed buns to soak up all of the fragrant broth in the pot.
