Ready for a night of dancing and artistic expression? The Hong Kong International Choreography Festival, presented by Unity Space, is back for its third year and will be celebrating a multicultural program of contemporary dance featuring highly-acclaimed performances from abroad as well as some of the most talented aspiring dancers from Hong Kong.
In the lead-up to the festival, there will be a four-week long collective artists in residency from May 28th– bringing together 23 international artists from around the world who will inspire and collaborate together, producing new innovative dance performances which combine contemporary dance, theatre visual design, music and voice. Ephemeral Shades, Aura Dance Theatre
Choreography by Vangelis Legakis
This is a performance portraying different aspects of a relationship that we built in our life. This piece portrays different possible versions of a story. Why do we encounter these certain people we encounter and not any other? The people we encounter in our lives have a certain weight or importance; and there is a reason why we meet those people and not others. What we make out of each relationship is a learning process not only for our minds and hearts, but also for our soul.
When: June 29, 7:30pm
Silk Road, Auguo Dance Company
