Lan Kwai Fong in Central is arguably the definitive party hotspot in Hong Kong, and has been so for decades. Locals and travellers alike flock there in pursuit of endless entertainment, and all this fun can be attributed to the “Father of Lan Kwai Fong,” Dr. Allan Zeman, chairman of the Lan Kwai Fong Group. Responsible too for introducing the Halloween festivities to the city 30 years ago, which has since evolved into one of the biggest party nights in town, he is now taking Halloween to a whole new virtual level.

Introducing a mega-fun ghost-hunting app called "LKF Play" at a press conference held last month in September, Lan Kwai Fong Group announced that it is all set to add a new level of fun to the festivities this year. Everyone is invited to play the app and share their experience on social media, which aims to up the fun factor in ghost-hunting and by encouraging users to catch zombies and win rewards.

How it works is this: the app is an interactive game in which players are in for a rescue mission, aiding protagonist Megabeats to find her girlfriend Candy, who is captured by the Wicked Witch. Through the map and hints in the app, players will be covering different hotspots in LKF in order to track Candy down while catching challenging zombies. For each zombie captured, players will earn a fantastic restaurant or entertainment offer, with a chance to win Delta Air Lines’ return tickets for two to America, leading to a fun-packed Halloween among LKF’s distinct dining destinations.

Download the app now and take part in the festivities!
