We’re Obsessed with Porterhouse’s New Menu

The steakhouse stuns with a selection of fabulous new à la carte

Stop what you’re doing and start to plan for your dinner, immediately! Now, go make new ones at Porterhouse instead, because they’ve just launched a new menu, and it’s giving us all sorts of feelings.

If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know we love Porterhouse. Not only do they make the best steaks in Lan Kwai Fong (with an amazing rooftop terrace), they also have the largest collection of Porterhouse steaks in the city. And honestly, we want to try them all.

Chef Angelo Vecchio has introduced a host of new additions to the restaurant this month, like a Porterhouse Steaks Menu—which highlighting their eight varieties of Porterhouse – and a Chef’s Blind Tasting Menu, which invites guests to put their palates to the test and guess their premium cuts.

But perhaps what we’re most excited about is the fabulous new à la carte menu, featuring stunning new dishes like a signature US Prime Beef Wellington. This perfectly executed masterpiece of a dish weighs over 1kg, and is meant for groups of four to share, served with 24-months-aged Parma ham, horseradish, mushroom duxelle, truffle and foie gras. He’s even created an Impossible Wellington for vegetarians, made with sustainable plant-based meat and all the trimmings.

We recommend going with a large group so you can try all of chef Vecchio’s creations, like Porterhouse’s new homemade pastas. The Veal Ossobuco Pappardelle is made with Taggiasche olives and a decadent ricotta salata, while the Piedmont Plin Style Ravioli is filled with a rich fondue and truffle filling, burrata sauce and freshly shaven truffles. As the saying goes, “what grows together goes together,” so enjoy it with a full-bodied Piedmont red wine!
