LKF Beer & Music Festival 2018

The Lan Kwai Fong Beer & Music Fest is back, which means we get to drink unapologetically and dance like nobody's watching — we know you've waited all year for this. Celebrating its 15th edition, which will be held from 21 to 22 July, the iconic festival will be taking over the streets of Lan Kwai Fong, with 40 booths of interactive games, craft beers and various cuisine from around the world.

Indulge in a variety of international brews such as Vedett, La Chouffe, Fuller's, Pilsner Urquell and Orion. The list wouldn't be complete without including a few Hong Kong breweries. Lion Rock Beer, Meow Beer, and Hitachino Nest Beer will be representing for the local brews with a plethora of snacks including beef Teriyaki and Karaage chicken to Takoyaki octopus pancakes and king oyster mushroom skewers.

What is a festival without music? Live bands will be taking over the stage at the Amphitheatre, giving you beats and enough bass to get down to. There will be 15 bands performing across a variety of genres — think: Jazz, Rock, Blues and Electro — from 1pm to midnight so you can dance all day long. If you're in the mood for something different, there are other dancefloors to take over. While you're smack in the middle of Lan Kwai Fong, check out Insomnia, Hard Rock Café, LEVELS, PLAY and Volar as they will be expecting you to drop by for a swing and a shot or two.

Last but not least, the game zone will have plenty of activities to keep you going — with souvenirs and freebies to boot. Okamoto will be bringing excitement to the venue with a miniature gym to test your athletic abilities, while Huawei captures the moment with a photograph to take home with you. For giveaways and exclusive promotions, Openrice, Honestbee, LKF Group and LKF Labs have a lot of surprises in store for you.

Although we appreciate a great party like nobody else (we're talking about Lan Kwai Fong, after all), there's nothing like having fun and being socially conscious too. That's why we've collaborated with 2Gather Network and AIDS Concern to recycle empty glass bottles and raise awareness on sex education. The Lan Kwai Fong Guardian Charter will stop any alcohol-fuelled violence and crimes so you can immerse yourself in the various activities without having to worry — we may play hard but we play safe too.

If that's not enough, perhaps Dr. Allan Zeman, Chairman of the Lan Kwai Fong Association will be able to persuade you; "it is definitely an unmissable event this summer!" — enough said.
