The holiday season is all about indulging and a good quality steak and glass of wine can go a long way once the temperature drops.
California Tower’s swanky Porterhouse puts the spotlight on its premium cuts and the sides don’t disappoint either. There’s a 60 day dry-aged Spain Los Nortenos Rubia Gallega Prime cut and a 30 day wet-aged US Linz Heritage Black Angus Prime. We’re also quite partial to the 400 day grain-fed US Brandt Tenderloin paired with triple-cooked fries with beer vinegar and sea salt, truffle potato gratin with parmesan and smoked cheddar mac n’ cheese.

Buenos Aires Polo Club
One of the best places for Argentinian steak in town, Buenos Aires Polo Club is where you go to spoil yourself (and whoever you’re with). Highlights include the wood-smoked bacon with chimichurri, their Argentine pure Black Angus beef (go for the 24 oz bone-in Ribeye), mashed potatoes with mascarpone and brown butter and roasted French beans. All steaks come with chimichurri, salsa criolla, Malbec mustard and creamed horseradish.
They’ve also recently just launched a prime rib set dinner available for groups of four or more (including salad, provelta and charcuterie, grass-fed Argentine Black Angus Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, green beans, creamed spinach and a selection of sorbet).

A popular favourite, Tango is the place to go with a group of your friends. Start with their “Lomo” Steak Tartare with potato cake and cured onions, sausage platter of chorizo, morcilla and salchicha parrillera before digging into a hearty skirt or rump steak. Their Argentine cuts are served with six salsas: chimichurri, criolla, spicy tomato, roasted tomatillo, Dijon mustard and horseradish.
