Explore 2,000 pieces of the most exciting contemporary art
It’s back! The Asia Contemporary Art Show returns to the Conrad Hong Kong for its 14th edition, and we can’t wait. The Asia Contemporary Art Show is one of our favourite events of Hong Kong’s Arts Month (aka March), because it’s fun and super enjoyable.
The way it works is simple, but genius. The show takes over four floors of the fabulous 5-star hotel, and each room is transformed into its own unique world of art. The rooms of Artist Dialogues will be devoted to singular artists, while others show off the best works of specific galleries. Wander through the rooms at your own pace and interact with the art in a hyper-intimate way you can’t find anywhere else—you might even meet the artists themselves!
“Exhale” by Louise Farnay, Australia, Room 4112
This year the show is bigger than ever, highlighting over 2,000 pieces of the most exciting contemporary art from around the world. From photography to sculpture, emerging artists to celebrated favourites, there’s a little bit of everything here. They will also be two exciting new features to explore this year.
“Diamond Tiger No.1” by You Yang, Nancy's Gallery, China, Room 4320
The first is Intersections: China, a series of dynamic works from across Chinese galleries and collectives that re-envision traditional techniques, materials or subject matters for the present. And don’t miss Artist Dialogues, a chance for artists to speak about their work and process for visitor’s.
“Egypt through Time” by Jeff Murray, United Kingdom, Room 4326
