Wing Wah Lane is as near as you are going to get to eating outside in Lan Kwai Fong and the Good Luck Thai’s reputation goes before it as a cheap, cheerful and fun place to eat. The manager enthusiastically runs round the tables checking on the customers and clashing his drink against your beer bottle or plastic glass of lime soda. At night the atmosphere is chaotic and noisy as more and more tables are set up to ensure no customers have to go over to the competition.

There is no special set lunch but as the manager says it is such good value already there’s no need. Tom Yum Soup, Satay, Papaya Salad, Green Curry with Prawns. Chicken with chilli and Basil, Pineapple fried rice…. All your favorites are there as well as Malaysian curries and their new additions to the menu, fruit fritters for dessert.
